By accessing or using Posture Cop ("the Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Application.

Description of Service

Posture Cop is a browser-based application that uses your device's camera and pose detection technology to provide real-time posture feedback. The Application is provided for informational and educational purposes only.

Not Medical Advice

THE APPLICATION IS NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE AND DOES NOT PROVIDE MEDICAL ADVICE. The posture scores, feedback, and alerts provided by the Application are for general informational purposes only and should not be considered a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider with any questions you may have regarding posture, ergonomics, or any medical condition.

Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have seen in this Application.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Application will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any posture analysis or feedback provided by the Application.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS, DEVELOPERS, OR CONTRIBUTORS OF POSTURE COP BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

• Your use or inability to use the Application
• Any reliance on posture feedback, scores, or alerts provided by the Application
• Any injury, discomfort, or health condition related to posture or ergonomics
• Any unauthorized access to or use of your device or camera
• Any errors, bugs, or inaccuracies in the Application
• Any other matter related to the Application

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO USE THE APPLICATION (WHICH IS ZERO FOR FREE USERS).

Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge and agree that your use of the Application is at your sole risk. You assume full responsibility for any decisions or actions you take based on information provided by the Application. You should consult with appropriate professionals before making any changes to your posture habits, workspace setup, or health routines.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the authors, developers, and contributors of Posture Cop from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Application or violation of these Terms.

User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the Application only for lawful purposes
• Ensure you have appropriate permissions to use the camera on any device where you access the Application
• Not rely solely on the Application for posture correction or health decisions
• Take regular breaks and follow appropriate ergonomic guidelines regardless of Application feedback

Intellectual Property

The Application and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by the developers and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Application without explicit permission.

Third-Party Services

The Application uses third-party services including MediaPipe from Google. Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Application at any time, without notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the Application after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
